I am a recreational cyclist. I do the occasional group rides. I attend a few annual events, but I do so for the fun and thrill of it; not to compete. The more I rode; the more I strived to become stronger, more efficient, and smarter. I fell in love with longer endurance type rides, and climbing. Before I met Will; I always thought that if you just put your pedal to the floor and keep it pinned, you’ll become stronger, and faster. Boy was I wrong. He taught me about all of the other factors that I’ve overlooked along the way. I was riding aimlessly and taking the scenic route towards a goal that should’ve been within arms reach. He is a very easy person to communicate with and listens and understands me when I voice my concerns and frustrations with things I don’t understand. I can see that it’s easy for him put himself in my shoes, because he too is an athlete striving to become the best version of himself. Since I’ve started training with him; I’ve noticed massive improvements in my power output, lowered perceived exertion to achieve previous previous power goals, and power holds. Just massive improvements all around. I’m a huge data nerd, and feed off of self progression. Will has been helping dump fuel into that fire in the most efficient way possible. Thanks for helping me become the best Strava segment warrior I can be.
